On Saturday 28 October at Whitchurch Airfield, Amy Follows and Sian Harrison will be putting their lives in the hands of a skydive pilot as they do a 10,000 feet free fall tandem skydive in aid of the Severn Hospice. The dare devils have been reported to be “super excited” at the prospect of being hurled out of an aeroplane for an amazing charity.
Sian said “When my Nanna was in the final stages of her life, the Severn Hospice took such good care of her. Nothing was too much trouble and everything they did was with a smile. They were kind, considerate staff and I want to give something back. I miss my Nanna – and jumping out of a plane seemed a good idea”.
Amy said “I am really grateful to be doing the skydive for a worthwhile cause. The Severn Hospice do some amazing work and took great care of my friend’s Mum during the latter part of her life. The whole experience will not only be scary but very exciting . . . I will be pleased when my feet touch the floor!”
Both Sian and Amy have been raising money via their donation pages. If you would like to sponsor either or both of them, please click on the links below. All donations are hugely appreciated.
Everyone at Clarkes wish them Good Luck.
