Accredited Police Station Representative

Melanie Steele qualified as Police Station Representatives in 1994 and joined Clarkes in 1998.

Melanie was one of the first people to be accredited as a Police Station Representative and had worked for McMillan Bennett for 6 years before accreditation was even a requirement.  After gaining the accreditation she moved to Gwynnes for 2 years before joining Clarkes. 

In total Melanie and has 20 years experience representing clients at the police stations.  The role also involves elements of rules of evidence, law in relation to crown court and magistrate's court.

Melanie is a Member of Institute of Legal Executives and is based at our Oakengates office
