Clarkes Solicitors Team Up To Support Hospice

Clarkes Solicitors raised £1227.50 for the Severn Hospice.

Clarkes Solicitors entered a team of employees in this years Severn Hospice Sponsored Walk on Sunday 13 April to raise essential funds for the local charity.

Nick Hassell Practice Development Manager at Clarkes Solicitors said 'The Severn Hospice is a very valuable resource in the local area. The services, care and compassion offered to patients and their families is outstanding.'

Those who took part in the Sponsored Walk were Ken Stowe, Anthea Taylor, Jane Harrison, Jeanette Carrington, Mandy Latham, Rachel Mynott, Joan Crabtree, Shirley Pugh, Fiona Peake and Sue Whitticase who all walked the five mile route throughout the countryside of Wellington.

Nick added 'The team at Clarkes Solicitors wanted to take this opportunity to raise some money for such a wonderful charity, be part of the development and felt it was a fantastic opportunity to be able to inject something back into the community.'

'Not only did we recruit a group of keen walkers from Clarkes to take part in the Sponsored walk this year, we even persuaded two of our fluffy friends Maisie & Harvey away from their busy schedule to get involved. Whilst their main exercise involves playing around in mud and water, they do enjoy a stroll and never have a problem posing for the camera.'
