Leila Archer

Leila graduated from Aberystwyth University with a first-class honours’ degree in Law in 2021.  She then completed the Legal Practice Course (with distinction) and Masters degree (with commendation) in 2022 at the University of Wolverhampton, whilst commencing her time at Clarkes in early 2022 by doing some work experience in various areas.

She then joined the Residential Conveyancing team at our Shifnal office in 2022 as a Legal Assistant, and after two years commenced her Training Contract in August 2024.  Leila has built many professional relationships with third parties and returning clients during her time at Shifnal and enjoys getting Clarkes involved in the Shifnal town community.  She contributes to running the firm’s social media, as well as enjoying business marketing events.

As part of her training, Leila did a seat in our Private Client department at our Newport office, which broadened her knowledge in other areas of law, such as that of Wills, Probates and Administration of Estates and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

She is now based at our Shifnal office once again, specialising in Residential Conveyancing and has experience in working on sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and first registrations, amongst other property matters.

In her personal time, she has been a keen netball player for many years and plays for two well established Shropshire teams, across multiple competitive leagues.  Her team recently secured second place in the First Division of the Telford Netball League for the 2024/25 season and are currently chasing the win for the 2025/26 season!
