Toni Laycock

Toni had her first taste of a future legal career in 1988 with a two-week work placement at R.A Clarke and Son (now Clarkes) at our Telford Centre office.  Toni is delighted to return to Clarkes after a career in Private client following her qualification as a Solicitor in 1999.

Toni’s career has been a mixture of traditional high street practice private client work, including advising clients about will drafting, lasting powers of attorney, Probate and estate administration along with some Court of Protection work.  Toni has also worked as an in-house Solicitor for a major national charity, giving advice about gifts in wills and legacy administration and management.  This gave her a valuable insight into what client expectations of Solicitors who administer estates and deal with probate might be.  Additionally, during this period Toni also qualified as a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists.  In 2016 Toni was shortlisted for Legacy Professional of the year.

In her spare time Toni enjoys skiing, Zumba, walking her Labrador and spending time with her husband and daughters.
