The Clarkes team were out in force for a wonderful day on Saturday at Merefest 2017.
For the second year, Clarkes sponsored the Media Zone with MediaActive (http://www.mediaactive.org/) and enjoyed meeting the public at this fun and worthwhile event, supporting the protection of local wildlife.

The Media Zone is run by the Media Active group who produce “Bogwatch”, a live video stream of events at the festival and interviews with those involved, including our own Rachel Davenport who talked to them about the benefits of being a sponsor.

 

Merefest is a fun-filled festival celebrates the unique landscape of the Meres and Mosses with loads of hands on activities, talks, films, live music (this year including our own Paul Harrison’s band, The Time Divers!!), and lots of lovely local food!  It celebrates the wildlife, landscape, communities, history and businesses of the Meres & Mosses LPS (www.themeresandmosses.co.uk/ ), and is run in partnership with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, RSPB, Canal & River Trust, Environment Agency and Natural England, as well as many local groups and societies.
