We all start the New Year with good intentions which for most of us involves eating less, drinking less and moving more.

The thought of that New Year resolution fills me with dread not optimism as I always feel that I am losing something I enjoy and it most definitely won’t be weight after a week or so of deprivation!   If you have given up on your resolutions already, why not Do Something Amazing instead?

You may not be aware that Clarkes is only one of two firms that joined forces with Severn Hospice last year in their Do Something Amazing Today campaign, where Clarkes waived their fees for simple Wills and people made a donation to the charity instead.

Severn Hospice relies on donations to raise two thirds of the funding required in helping people and their families living with incurable illnesses. Every legacy gift, large or small, really makes a difference to this charity.

Remembering Severn Hospice in your Will is a gift that most definitely keeps on giving.

One in five patients would not be cared for without someone remembering the hospice in their Will.  This specialist care is given annually to more than 2,000 people from Shropshire and Mid Wales, from all walks of life and age.

My colleagues and I are often called to the hospice to assist with Wills for those who are living with incurable illnesses and we are always humbled by the dedication and care provided by the whole team at Severn Hospice.  We are so very proud and honoured to have been chosen by Severn Hospice to participate in this very worthwhile campaign.

So this New Year don’t give up on giving and please support this invaluable charity.
