Clarkes gathered an experienced (cough cough) team for a successful visit to Telford Business Partnership’s annual Brainiest Business Quiz. With some last minute changes to the team sheet Emma, Luke, Charlotte and Lizzie came 5th out of 20 teams, with Luke winning two raffle prizes; the raffle being in aid of HomeStart.
Highlights included a ‘Name the Shropshire Castle’ round in which National Trust member Luke came in handy. Despite the disadvantage of the eldest team member being born in 1988, they did well with some educated guesses on the ‘Name the Year’ round! If they learnt nothing else it is to always listen to Lizzie’s gut instinct in the music round!
Clarkes Illegal Eagles have high hopes for topping the score next year!
