Melanie Steele

Melanie qualified as an Accredited Police Station Representative in 1994 and joined Clarkes in 1998.

Melanie was one of the first people to be accredited as a Police Station Representative and had worked for a local law firm for 6 years before accreditation was even a requirement.  Two years after gaining the accreditation she joined the team at Clarkes where she was able to bring a wealth of knowledge on advising clients at the Police Station and preparing defence cases for Court.

In total Melanie and has over 20 years experience representing clients at police stations.  The role also involves an elements of rules of evidence, law in relation to crown court and magistrates court.
